Tri-Valley
Inc. integrates day programs into the broad support system we provide
for people over 60. Services provided in these group settings are
actually as individual as the needs of each person who participates,
but with all the advantages of a social get-together. People are
attended to by trained staffs, contracted by the agency.
Social
Day Care provides a warm, caring atmosphere for people recovering
from physical setbacks or in need of help managing either a chronic
illness or activities of daily living. The focus is on the participant’s
strengths and abilities. The service helps each participant maintain
a connection to the community and to retain their daily living skills.
Adult
Day Health is more medically oriented, for elders who require skilled
services or physical assistance with activities of daily living.
But there is also emphasis on restoring people’s capacity
and providing a social environment as well. All these work together
to help bring people to their maximum vitality. Nutrition and personal-care
services are also provided.
Dementia
Day Care is tailored to the specialized needs of people with dementia
from Alzheimer’s Disease or other causes. Nurses and social
workers, with guidance from physicians, work to enhance both the
comfort and capacity of those in their care. Resulting improvements
in quality of life can reverberate both within the individual and
family members. More information
